I’ve had a notorious reputation for pulling out Halloween costumes that typify “slutoween”, but as more and more women jump on that bandwagon, I’m finding the idea passé. Since I spent my last Halloween in New York City in the emergency room after being struck by a pick-up truck while crossing the street, I’m fleeing to Tennessee for the holiday. My parents throw an enormous party, usually filled with their musicially-inclined friends and lots of jamming.
So, I’m going as fashion and music icon David Bowie, circa Aladdin Sane. Obviously, I’m set as far as make-up (BellaSugar provides a great tutorial) and hair go (though I may forego the red wig and do a poufy ponytail), but I’m unsure about where to go clothing wise. Any ideas?
